During my practicum I worked with adolescents, first in substance abuse treatment and then through an at-risk program for youth through the police department.  The substance abuse treatment  mostly centered on adolescents in the foster care system.  The at-risk youth program involved treating adolescents and their families, as well as teaching parenting classes.

After I graduated from Argosy University in 2013, I completed my internship in a community counseling setting.  That position allowed me to work with a wide array of populations, which was helpful in determining which populations I prefer to work with.  I also continued teaching parenting and co-parenting classes, as well as conducting support groups.

Currently I work in private practice on Saturdays and also maintain a position with San Bernardino County through the week.

I work with adults, adolescents, and couples.  I have a special interest in trauma treatment, codependency, and teaching parenting skills.
